Choosing
the correct bed for your dog is just as important, and there are numerous
sizes and colours available. They will have some where to treat as their
own and to retire to if they wish. The bedding should be cleaned frequently
to keep unwelcome visitors such as fleas down to a minimum.
A dog collar and lead will depend on the size of your pet of course you
will need to ensure you have a sturdy one for larger dogs. A check should
be kept on leads and collars for sign of wear as they do rot eventually,
and this can be problem of you have a larger dog. The last thing you want
is the dog getting loose on the road.
A dog toy will give hours of pleasure to your pet and will probably need
to be replaced from time to time depending on how it gets treated.
Other pets too, horses, birds, reptiles, even fish will enjoy and benefit from their surroundings, so do your homework first and find out their likes and dislikes, it will make for a happy and contented pet which will also give you hours of entertainment and pleasure.
The two dogs in the header above are both rescue dogs, Casper on the Left and Benny the Cocker Spaniel on the right. Both were brought home when they were puppies and they settled in very well. Never had any problems with either of them, and they have brought an immense amount of pleasure to our home.
Diva the cat is a Siamese, and is one of three belonging to my youngest son Paul. The other two are Libby and Bobby.
